Cotton McNutt is a Certified Safety Professional who has over thirteen years of global construction experience. She obtained her undergraduate and graduate environmental engineering degrees from Texas Tech University. Soon after she graduated, she hired on with ExxonMobil, where she executed a variety of roles in design, construction safety, and construction management. In January 2017, Cotton and her husband, Rupert Russell, moved to Scottsdale. Cotton is currently teaching part-time at Arizona State University and works as a consultant for Tau Project Solutions, LLC where she specializes in speaking, leadership coaching, training, business strategies, and construction safety.
Cotton’s family has been involved with Arabian horses for over 30 years, and she is lucky that her trainer, Crystal McNutt, is her sister and best friend. When Cotton is not working or riding at the ranch, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, working out, reading, and walking her hairless Chihuahua, Señor Guapo.
